  1. Fairs are held in all the local towns.
    Every fortnight in Navan, once a month in Athboy, every second Friday of the month in Kells there are fairs held.
    There are only two very old fairs held on the 27 of March in Trim and on the first of November in Bective.
    Even though all these fairs are held it is the custom nowadays for buyers to go to the farmers' houses
