    parish priest to court because he said that he (the priest) would not give him enough of the road when driving.
    Rockwell swore both lies and truth.
    However on leaving the court house the priest struck Rockwell in the face with the end of his handkerchief saying "You are Rothwell to day but you will be "Rot" to morrow."
    Immediately Rothwell began to bleed from the nose and he bled on until the next day when he died.
