    It is a little well shaped like a grisset in the rock. It holds about a half pint of water. In the bottom if it, I.H.S. is cut out in the rock.
    The priest never left the hill in case he would be murdered. It is said that he had a little house attached on to the chapel.
    Note Knockeoin is situated in the townland of Streamstown, in the parish of Mayne and in the barony of Demi-fore.
