- My great Grandfather taught night school in Grennans House where my Father was born and reard. It was in the year of 1889. The neighbours around attended the school, he taught Arithmetic and writing. There was no Irish taught in those times, afterwards the pupils attended the National school. The Hous is still there, and My Uncle resides there now. It is near Doone Hill where it was said that the good people lived long ago.
