   there was a man in a boat in the lake and he was going to fire a shot at the tower of the church in Moate and when he was ready to fire the shot the boat went down and he was drowned.

   The name of my townland is Ballinabarna, Kilcomreragh, Barony of Moycashel. There are ten families and about 44 people. Anne Molloy can tell English stories but she can tell no Irish stories. The land is good and dry. There is a river running through Molloy's land called the Custorum
