  1. One evening as a man was passing near the hill of Ballgarret he suddenly heard a faint tapping. He looked around and he saw a fairy hammering away at a pair of shoes. He caught hold of him and asked him where the pot of gold was hidden. But the fairy refused to tell. The man brought him home and chained him. He then started to heat the poker to force the fairy to tell the secret. The fairy was frightened and told him that it was hidden under a "clapog" and he did not know which one to dig under.
