- Fr. McGivney was on his way to Drumlish. There is a river about a mile and a half on the Ballinamuck side of Drumlish. The priest was got drowned in it.
About 50 years after the priest was drowned there was a child in a house convenient to the river - there's a lot of houses convenient to it and she used to dance the "Stack of Barley" when they'd whistle it for her. And they were out at their work, it was in the summer and it was late when they cem in and they had no time to whistle for her and when they went out they got her dead on the street.
