“The houses in olden times...”
The houses in olden times were built different from the houses that are built now the most part of them was built of mud and mostly all of them were thatched with rushes or straw. Some of them had only a kitchen with a bed against the backwall. Some of them had only a hole in the roof for a chimney with a little can stuck down on it and more of the chimneys were made of clay.- Collector
