    There was an old house between Nugents and Farrells. Jim Fitch lived in it. It was a mud wall house and in October he would thatch it with potato stalkes. There was another house in Bernard cox's garden. Brian Cormack lived in it. It was a thatched house. There was another house at the quarry gate it was a shop. Betty Fullam lived in it. It was a thatched house. There was another house in Dardises garden. Vernon lived in it last, other families lived in it too.
