  1. People have different beliefs about the weather.
    Some say if in the morning the sky is red the weather is going to be wet, and if at night the sky is red the weather will be good. If the rays of the sun slope down to the ground wet weather is expected.
    "Last night the sun went pale to bed
    The moon in halo hid her head
    The boding shepherd heaved a sigh
    To see a rainbow span the sky."
    If the new moon has sharp points or if the stars are very bright frost usually comes. If the clouds hurry along the sky it usually rains, and if the sky is clear it is a sign of good weather.
    When the wind blows from the north it may snow. The south wind brings most rain to this district. If the flames in the fire are blue it is the sign of a storm.
    Dogs eat grass when it going to rain, and sheep gather into sheltered places; crows fly low before
