  1. Stories of the Holy Family
    When Mary and Joseph were fleeing into Egypt with Our Lord, Our Lady needed a pin for her mantle. They met a man, whom they asked for a pin, but he refused. On coming to a forge, Our Lady asked the blacksmith for a pin. He had not one but he said he would make one. This he did and gave it to her. Since then, Tradition says, blacksmiths are always happy, they sing and whistle while they wield the hammer.
