- Norris was the landlord for this district. He never lived in this country he was what they called an absentee landlord. Morrow was his agent and resided in this parish with his family in a fine mansion at Corrobulle. The house is now in ruins burned during the nineteen hundred and twenty uprising. Morrow was a tyrant and immoral during his time He evicted ten or twelve families from Killindowd and added the small holdings to his own ranch. It was the stones from the evicted tenants' little home-steads that were used in the building the land agent's mansion. Some of the evicted tenants(continues on next page)
