  1. When going to bed this is a prayer that is said.
    Here I lay down myself to sleep. I give my soul to God to keep. If any danger troubles me Blessed Virgin waken me. There are four corners on my bed. There are four Angels over head, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John God bless the bed that I lie on. Lord be the branch. Lady be the flower. Lord be with me at my dying hour. Heart of Jesus I adore thee. Heart of Mary I implore thee. Heart of Joseph true and just. In these three hearts I place my trust.
