- Fairs are held in towns on the market square and on the streets. Buyers often buy and sell in the country, they do often buy in the country yet. Fairs were always held formerly.
There are no fairs held on hills or in this district. There is no special place in the towns they are held on the streets and on a market square. Toll is paid to the Council 6d per head. When an animal is sold. luck is given it is called a luck penny. Luck money is given according to the age.
