    It was most unusual to sit at a table for milk as the common people considered it as pure nonsense. They always sat usually in the centre. They were very healthy as this did not poison themselves with tinned stuff as the present generation are doing.

The people in olden times used to eat two meals a day they used to put a big fire in the field when they were digging the potatoes and they used to throw a bucket of potatoes into the fire and roast them then they would eat them They would go into the house at about seven o clock. There would be a big pot of potatoes boiled they were put on a basket, they whole family would sit round the basket and eat potatoes. they would eat with the light
