    He lit a pipe and he said "Ye have a big crowd outside today but it is nothing to the crowd ye will have very soon", nor neither was it for the youngest son was drowned in the well the next day so that put a stop to cockfighting in that fort.
    There is also another fort in Ballycloghan, parish of Legan, Co Longford. The owner is Patrick Kiely. Long ago a family living close by named Finnen was annoyed by a little red man who used to go in and sit at the fire every evening at night fall. This family had to leave the house. There is a ring of clay around the fort. There are also bushes growing around it. It is said that if anyone cut a bush in it all his cattle would die.
