There is also another fort in Ballycloghan, parish of Legan, Co Longford. The owner is Patrick Kiely. Long ago a family living close by named Finnen was annoyed by a little red man who used to go in and sit at the fire every evening at night fall. This family had to leave the house. There is a ring of clay around the fort. There are also bushes growing around it. It is said that if anyone cut a bush in it all his cattle would die.(continues on next page)- Collector
