    when a person was dying the priest arrived a blessed candle was placed in the dying persons hand Holy water was sprinkled around the room Two hours after the persons death the corps was washed and laid out Five sheets were hung up and holy pictures were placed around them There was a wake then for two days and two night and pipes tobacco and snuff were given around each night On the morning of the funeral the person was coffined and left until the appointed time for the funeral The priest arrived and blessed the corps which was then removed on bearers and blessed clay was put on the coffin It was then placed in the
