shoulder, then the tailor said "Let you go first as I do not know the way to your cave, and I shall remain behind carrying the heavy branches." The giant then went on ploughing through the wood with the tree on his shoulder and the tailor instead of carrying the branches sat up on them. They journeyed on, and now and again the tailor would say to the giant, "You are very slow and you only having to carry the little stump of the tree, and I have to carry the heavy branches."
At last they reached the cave, and the giant left down the tree but before he had time to look around the tailor had jumped down beside the branches as if he had been carrying them.
