- 154Local HeroesThe only local hero I know is a man called Mike Mulligan He is a famous weightlifter. He is presently engaged lifting timber in Tully.
He is about sixty years of age and has been known to carry a timber crane on his back.
He is very much stronger than the average man
It is also know that a man called Joe Kilbride carried a harrow from Ballymore to his home in Coolarty a distance of two miles.
He is not alive now.
