    Then it is salted and made into bars. The butter-milk is given to pigs and calves, it is also used for making cakes and for taking with stirabout. John Boylan told me he had three cows and he could not get any butter off their milk. One morning he went out early for his cows. He saw a hare sucking one of them. He had a gun with him so he fired at the hare and wounded her. The hare ran into a house and he followed her in and he saw a little woman bleeding in the corner. I heard this story from John Boylan.
