Now we come to the time of St. Patrick when great wonders and cures took place. When he was travelling from Granard to Ardagh he left many marks in places which are to be seen to the present day and that commemorate his time.
About half way between Ardagh and Edgeworthstown there is a place known as Ballinree(continues on next page)
