He died in 1919 between the age of 84 and 85 years and he was buried in Ardcavan.
I never heard of any of his forefathers being poets.
Jem Pender lived in Crory he was born in the year of 1876.
He made a good many songs also about Hurlings, Football matches and he also made one by the name of "Harvesting".
