answered by a fellow by the name of Joe Sutton from the BarnyForth and on ome occasion they had a dispute about new inventions, Joe Sutton wanted the old fashion ones and Jem Pender wanted the new fashion ones and in the finish Jem Pender wrote
"You'r the poet from the BarnyForth
And I am the one from Shelmalier"
He began his career as a postman and after that he was a casual worker.
He died in the year of 1930 at the age of 55 and was buried in Ardtramont.
Jem Pender could read and write and he was a great scholar but I never heard of any of his forefathers being poets. God have mercy on his soul.
