    There was a man, long ago in the town-land of Ballymoney who was able to carry his plough from field to field and was also able to carry a hay rake. He could ride a horse and hold the rake in his hands. There was another man in the town-land of Carrigacroe who was a great stone thrower.
    Two men lived in the town-land of Tubberneering one jumped 21. feet and the other 22. feet high.
    About 80 years ago when my grandmother was a child, a very strong man lived near Gorey
    He could lift an enormous bag of potatoes or sack of corn. It was said he could throw a stone the length of a field nearly a mile long.
