HerbsBuacalán or ragweed blossom is harmful because it destroys honey.
Praiseach / Prashuck or Charlock is a yellow weed that grows in corn.
Sorrel, a weed of a yellow brownish colour gives oxalic acid.
Lady's finger or fox glove, was used as a cure for heart trouble.
Tansy, small yellow flowers common on old pasture was used with buttermilk for a sun burn.
Mint is used for flavouring sauce.
Camomile was also a great herb long ago, Small bags were stuffed with the flower of the Camomile and steeped in boiling water and it would relieve a head-ache,
Marsh mallow was boiled and used for a sprain.
Long ago nettles were used as food.
The dandelion was used as pig feeding.
