    The Landlord
    A man by the name of Major Eustace was the landlord of this district. He owned a lot of land around here. He employed a lot of workmen to work on his farm. He grabbed the most of the land. In olden times the people were poor around here and they were not able to pay for their land this Major Eustace came along and grabbed all the land he could get. It was sold for little or nothing These people would not be satisfied because their land was taken. After a long time the people got back (their) land. Major Eustace lived in a house in Bellevue. Major Eustace had a silver windpipebecause his own was shot. Sometimes he lived in the Bungalow in Munfin, and more times in Knockduff. He went to England and brought home pheasants, and let them out a man by the
