There is an old crab-tree there and it is believed that an old shoemaker lived there long ago. Hammering is heard there and it is said that the old shoemaker is still working there.
There is another rath in Oldcourt and there is supposed to be money hidden in this rath. It is said that there is a lady minding it.- Collector
