    The Ruined House in Church Street beside Sullivans was a hotel in Peter's time, belonging to White's. Sixty years ago Dr Welsh lived in it.
    Kings on the Tullamore Rd. was a grand place. (See P14) Peter also had some story about a hourse being kept in the parlour by the eccentric Mr. King who last lived in it and let it go to "rack and ruin".

    Cottages in Oratory Road, fomerly know as Weavers Row. Some were pulled down by Cox more were abandoned when the new factory houses were built in Clashawaun
