  1. Flower of Sweet Strabane
If I was King of Erin's Isle, and had all things at my will,
I would roam through Recreation and see for comfort still.
The comfort I would seek for, as you may understand,
Would be to gain that lovely maid,
    The Flower of Sweet Strabane.
Her cheeks are rosy red, and her hair is lovely brown,
And o'er her lily white shoulders, and famous is her clan.
And my heart is captivated with
    the Flower of Sweet Strabane.
If I had you lovely Martha away down in Innishown,
Or in some lonesome valley in the green woods of Tyrone.
