It is to fill a cup with steam and put it on the boil. It will draw out the boil. Some people put on a meat poultice on it and it will cure to boil too.

   There is a lot of cures to be found through the country. there is a very old cure to take away a wart. It is to rub a stone on every wart then put the stones into a paperbag and leave the bag on the road. Who ever takes up the bag will take the warts. The seventh generation of a black smith is supposed to be able to cure wild fire.
