- A week or two after the potatoes are sowed. They people get a special harrow and harrows them down so that the little weeds will not grow up. They do this with a horse and harrow. Then they mould then with a moulding plough. When the weeds begin to grow the people hoe them with a hoe. When they are fit to take out they are then out with a spuddler. The name of the best potatoes are Scerry Champions.
