    it. Bags for the holding of grain or flour were made from the tow. The best known weaver was Hugh Mullins whose antecedants were also weavers and whose descendants are still living in Castlerea, Ballinahown. The Leonards of Cooldorough were also weavers. The pods that were on the flax were filled with seed and these were kept for the following years supply.
