    Food:- Fuaráns and chickweed are given raw to the pigs. Garlic is given to hens and calves. It is supposed to prevent black leg. Nettles are given to young turkeys and ducks. They are boiled and mixed with porridge.
    The ass eats the thistles.
    If a calfs neck is full of food get a bag of hay and heat it well. Tie bay around calf's neck
    Water-cress is eaten by persons
    Dyeing
    The flowers of furze are used for dyeing yellow. Ivy leaves dye clothes green when boiled
