A Burn : A man in Lerronaghan is noted for curing burns by licking the burn with his tongue. He first licks a lizard, an "alp luacra" it is called.
Cure for Warts : A man in Kilcolgan, Michael Rourke, is noted for curing a wart by get-ting straws and making them in the form of a cross and putting them on the wart. Then he buries the straws and the wart disappears as the straws rot.- Collector
