  2. To cure warts dip a straw in water, then rub the top of the straw on the warts, and do not look at it and it will fall off in a few days.
    For a sore throat roast salt and put it in a piece of cloth and tie it around your neck. There is a weed growing in the hedge called 'fox tongue'. Heat it to the fire and put it on a burn and it will cure it.
    The seventh son has a charm to cure ringworm. Any man named Walsh can cure wildfire by the blood of his finger.
