    guarding the place. As soon as she had dug to a certain depth she was to throw her scapular over the frog's head and it would die, but if the scapulars did not go over its head the frog would kill her, and the frog would be released from guarding the treasure, and then her Spirit would have to guard it. One night she, and some men, went to dig for the money, buy as soon as they saw the frog's head appearing they all ran away with fright and were afraid to go back to finish the digging. They went back the next day and the hole they had dug was filled in, and nobody ever tried to get the money since.
