the tunnel which is supposed to have been between Gallen and Glynn, it is said that the stones belonging to Glynn monastery were taken to build by Cromwell's followers.
There was another tunnel made between Gallen and Lonaghan but we have no account of any treasure hidden there. When the Abbot of Gallen was dying he willed a speckled cow to the Abbot of Lemonaghan and the cow left the print of her hoofs in a stone which is now in Lemonaghan grave-yard. There is a superstition held in Lemonaghan, that they never sell milk.
