On Saint Stephen's Day the mummers dress up and go around from house to house collecting money and playing music. They carry a wren with them and whatever house they do not get money in they bury the wren outside the door.
On Saint Brigid's Day a crowd of boys dress up, and carry a dressed up doll with them, and collect money.
Every Saint Patrick's Day people wear a shamrock and the children wear a harp and green ribbons.
On Ash Wednesday every person that can go to Mass goes, to get Blessed Ashes on her forehead, people also have to fast and abstain.
On Chalk Sunday people have great sport chalking the old maids and bachelors.
On Holy Thursday the Blessed Sacrament is exposed all day in all the churches.
On Easter Sunday people eat a lot of eggs and children buy chocolate and chickens.
