The floor of a horses stable is cemented. In the Summer the horses are left out at night. In the winter they are kept in at night. The horses are foddered with hay and straw. Every three months the horses are shod. Farmhorses are clipped only once a year, ponies are clipped twice or three times a year.
The months for setting eggs are June, August, September.
No hens are set in July because in that month we have thunder and lightning, and the chickens brought out that month are weak.
