    The bird sits on the eggs for about three weeks.
    When the swallows fly low, it is a sign of rain. When the crows make a lot of noise, it is a sign of rain.
    If you hit a swallow with a stone, your cow is supposed to milk blood. The robin was supposed to have been flying around the cross when our lord was hanging on it, and it is supposed that he pulled a thorn our of our own Lord's Head and a drop of our Lord's blood got on his breast, and all the robins have red breasts ever since.
