    Mr Laurence Toole of Ballyrahan made baskets about thirty years ago. He got sally switches and pared them and then he plaited them together. The length of the switches depended on the size of basket he was making. If it was a big basket the switches would be about five feet long if it was a small basket they would be about two feet long.
