    said that Unrighteous was the best. Then Righteous gave his horse to Unrighteous.
    Righteous then swore by his eyes, and they met another man and he said that Unrighteous was the best. Then Righteous told his brother to dig out his eyes and to leave him under a certain tree to die.
    He did so and during the night he was in great pain after losing his eyes. He heard fairies bathing in a well near by and he listened to what they were saying. This is what they were saying: '' The sight will be restored to anyone who is blind if they bathe their eyes in this water. The king's daughter
