He was accused of cutting an ash plant on Lisgar estate. He was hanged to a tree his mother took out his hearts blood and pasted it on the doorstep of the castle. The flag was removed and there was another put in and the blood was still on it. The woman prayed that there might never be an heir for the castle and there never was.- Collector
