- St. Brigid's Day falls on the first of February. In some parts, young girls go from house to house on St. Brigid's Eve, an old custom collecting alms.
- In my district many old people hold May-day as an important festival, because it is the first of summer, and they think that it is it is very lucky to celebrate that day.(continues on next page)
