  1. In my parish there are five graveyards one in the townland of Cullies, on in Killygarry. One in Butlerbridge, and another in the old abbey Cavan. Cullies, and Butlerbridge, graveyards are not long in use but the graveyards in the Old Abbey is disused, and it is stated that Owen Roe O'Neill and Myles the Slasher are buried ther.
    At Drumavaddy graveyard tradition has it that the gateway was locked by St. Patrick and it was not opened since.
