- John Brady and his wife lived in the townland of Lisoarty. They had two sons Edward and Charles. One fine moonlight night in the month of August Charles was watching a cow that was ready to calve. As he opened the door to go out he heard the sound of a huntsman's horse. Then he could hear the hounds coming at full cry and the horses galloping down Glendenings field. He ran back and called Edward to come out to see them. Edward warned him not to go out as they were the good people. Just then they galloped up on the street and on for Coyles fort.
