    and he would leave him back again. They went down to the lake and a beautiful road opened that brought them up to the castle. He brought him into the room in the castle where the girl lay. He pulled his knife out of the girl's side and she was in great joy. She asked him to eat and drink which he refused to do. The man left him back on the shore and told him never again to go out in the lake three times the same day.
