- (continued from previous page)heart fever went to an old man who had the cure of it. The cure was got by taking a black silk ribbon with thread on both sides. He then rolled it up and went round the man's body three times with it praying. Then he open out the ribbon and the two threads were on one side so that was a sign that he had heart fever. When he went back the second time he knew if the threads were apart from one another that he was getting better. So the third time he went back if the threads were back on both sides again he knew he was cured
