Song (continued)
“For sake of health I took a walk, last week at early dawn”
(continued from previous page)Politely asking this old man his load of turf to sell,
I took the shaking hand he offered unto me,
We'll meet some other place again,
Says says the turf man from Ardee.- On the road beside Cormaddyduff school there is a stone with the print of a foot on it. In the Penal times there was a saint executed for her faith and she was standing on the stone when executed and the track of her foot was left on it by a miracle.
